A Staple of the Kitchen
I own this kitchenaid stand mixer, and it is the second KA mixer I have owned. This model does a good job, and was a great replacement to my older model K45 of 30+ years. To me, the splash shield is indispensible for adding liquids, which tend to splash out, even at lower speeds. I would never be without my Kitchen Aid mixer, and it has helped out with cookie dough, decorator cake frostings, breads, quick breads, cakes, and anything else that needs a thorough mixing. The planetary action cannot be beat for efficiency.
Good job so far
Looks to be a heavy duty machine. Does a good job on stiff bread dough and mixing 32 degree natural peanut butter (probably not recommended). Arrived somewhat banged up but blemishes were cosmetic only. So far it’s been great at everything I’ve used it for. I decided to skip the add ons after reading reviews and did get the plastic filler shield which I found I just didn’t need.
