Great kitchenaid artisan 5
IBought this for a friend that always wanted one, but would never buy it. We weren’t concerned about it being recondidtioned in that we didn’t expect it to get used much. We have never had a problem with the mixer and it does get used expecially when “Mom” visits. The mixer was in great condition and we couldn’t be happier with it.
Great Product
I love my kitchenaid. It is great for making pizza doughs and bringing the mixing bowl directly to the fridge to chill and rise overnight. Great mixing ability and makes baking fun, even though sometimes using flour can be a mess :). Easy to clean bowl, try to get this artisan mixers when it goes on sale. Get the factory reconditioned one, mine was in perfect condition and a 6 month factory warranty is never a bad choice. Great BUY
Great affordable mixer, perfect conditions
I got this kitchenaid refurbished mixer a couple of weeks ago, for just $169!!! It looks and work perfectly, I’m so happy I could find such a great deal…. Now I look forward to get the pasta attachments
Refurbished is the way to go - but only 6 month warranty
We purchased this kitchenaid 5 qt artisan mixer as soon as we saw it for this incredible price. I read others who received a mixer with scratches, etc, but ours is in like new condition. There are a couple of very small nicks, but you have to look hard to see them. The mixer works great.
As is stated in the description, this doesn’t come with a pouring shield, but personally I don’t mind. We wouldn’t ever use that, anyway. It would just be something else to clean. Besides, the bowl is so deep with such tall sides that it’s nearly impossible to splash out of the bowl. I added water to the bowl with the wire whip attachment and turned it on full power and there was no splashing outside the bowl!
NOTE: The warranty that comes with this kitchenaid artisan stand mixer is a 6 month limited warranty instead of the full 1 year warranty with a new mixer. Amazon did not state that explicitly anywhere that I could see.
